Overview of the program
Communities the world over are faced with many health challenges that with appropriate knowledge and skills, could be solved at community level. This calls for community health workers who have the necessary knowledge, skill and competencies and refer health related conditions. The Bachelor of Science in Community Health seeks to train and equip Community health professionals who will work in the society to prevent and manage health problems at the lowest health levels all the way to national level.
